... perhaps you should market it like this?

http://blogs.guardian.co.uk/music/2007/03/naked_girls_flog_the_best_of_b.html

I was thinking of posting it at For3 as well, what do you think?  Cheesy

posted in the Coffee Bar and not on the serious boards, to illustrate my lack of agreement with the material in the link, before I am brickbatted...

Ho Reiner!  Radio 3, phew!  But why not?  I suppose the old saying "If you want to sell the goodies package them nicely" springs to mind.  I wonder if there is likely to be a move toward nude music.  There are some instruments that would, I feel, prove rather difficult to play without likely pain or embarrrassment.  What about the conductor?  A rear view of (often elderly) wobble could prove somewhat offputting for delicate natures such as yours and mine.

The men's chorus that enters (!) for the final part of Busoni's piano concerto is directed to sing nude.

Given that the average age of most symphony choruses now is about 102 I wonder if the effect today would be as the composer intended...

I didn't know about Busoni and his Piano Concerto. Good thing Alan Bush didn't ask the same in his.

Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked   You had me laughing with that one, Roslyn!!   Smiley  What an awful thought!  The sad thing is that they'd all be up for it, too...

hmmm...

I remember when the Medieval Babes were making waves for a bit, but nobody loves a fairy when she's forty and I won't be seeing forty again. In fact, it's probably only a matter of time until I have to use a mirror to say hello to my toes. Embarrassed
