As I am stick waiting far a train, how about a new game?

Occasionally, you may get from my posts that I use a pda with off predictive texting.  Indeed, there have already been two ofduties, ag, now four so far in this one.  Anyway, are if you can guess who these composers are?

Brickbee
Aaron vssaidy
Tvhaikovaky
Projodurc
Seensky
Heurg
Opulenc

I'm sure you can also join in just by sticking names through spell check.

Veronika - sorry, Richard Barrett is utterly predictable!

Well, I feel fairly safe with:
Tvhaikovaky - Tchaikovsky (unless one is attempting the Grew spelling)
Projodurc - Prokofiev (ditto spelling)

... grasshopper mind ...now I am trying to remember the title of that Paul Gallico book that contained "advice for young kottebs"

Opulenc sounds as if our own Czech specialist is morphing into a certain C20th French composer....

Since you've told us that S & A become confused, then Seensky's probably Arensky

So if I & U become confused, then Brickbee = Bruckner

And I'll come back to the rest.....or not

All right so far - and I'm home now so we needn't carry on this game as far as I am concerned....... Wink

And in answer to your earlier question, Ron, it's a BlackBerry 7130v by Vodafone

Utter Rubbish ergonomically - it has given me hand cramps and tennis elbow, which fortunately hasn't bothered by violin playing.  Don't get one.

I'm now on the lap top, so no silly games here!

On a related topic - predictive texting on phones - a friend and I now regularly refer to the German-Japanese composer Toshio Hosokawa as Insolby (try it on your mobile!).

Though i suppose there aren't many people in the world who send texts about Hosokawa anyway Huh

On my phone's predictive text if you write in the word 'mum', you first get offered 'nun'. Is it really statistically true that there is a greater call for the word 'nun' than for 'mum'? If so, perhaps I am just texting the wrong kind of people.

Thanks for the Grieg, Tommo, I'd not puzzled that one out yet, wondering about Henze or Heine, but couldn't justify either.

Sounds like last night went well!

When I'm rather cross sometimes my texts contain the word 'dublini'.  Undecided

I also had a phone once where 'knackered' came out as 'localesed'.

Once upon a time 'sort the sheep from the goats' always came out rather cryptic... what do you get on your toy with that, Tommo?

Sort the sheep from the hosts

Perhaps something Roger weight has been trying to do?

I was always amused by the choices for 'pint'. First choice is 'shot', second is 'riot'.
A friend of mine suggested that there was some kind of subliminal programming going on.
