The Beyond the Fringe DVD arrived early last week, but I have only just got around to converting it to Region 0. It is in monochrome and claims to be of the farewell performance. The 'Fauré', 'Schubert' and 'Britten' are all there, as are the variations on "And the same to you".

The picture quality is not much better than on the Internet, but you do get the whole show, and the sound is somewhat better.

Bryn, I noticed, when skimming through next week's Radio Times, that CfM's Evening Concert on Thursday has got Dudley Moore's recording of Grieg's Piano Concerto featured, plus his (Moore's!) Beethoven parody. I don't know if the latter if from the Fringe event or if he ever recorded it in the studio.

I will check that out, IGI. Quite forgot about the 'Weill'. Quite brilliant.
