£10 concert, free sherry / coffee... then maybe lunch in ask and walk it off in regents park ?

Sometime, have to plan it in advance as tickets sell out.

What do you reckon folks ?

It is hard to organize, but it could happen. People are scattered all over UK and Europe (and beyond), but several of us could be in London at the same time.

Lord,

200 mile round trip for me, but could be done. I've checked the remaining March schedule at Wigmore site, quite varied, a few sold out.

Later also accompanied her in Beethoven's vn con..good player!

A,

I knew I had something by Jennifer and yes, 'Lark Ascending' and Saint-Saens' Introduction and Rondo Capriccioso, recorded off a Radio 2 FNIMN  Smiley

She is also one of those really nice, genuine people .. and she can only be 16 now I think.

200 mile trip !

I kind of meant for folk in / near london, only something rather major would justify a long trip.

I think one should give himself special treatments and make special longer trips to London.
Some people like to plan their trips ahead, some do it on the spur of the moment, some do both.
It is nice to combine trip with other things (like meeting someone) and it is nice to go with no other plans and see what happens.
On the other hand it is nice to stay and nice to go.

Sounds like an interesting idea to me. I'd get the train to Waterloo and a taxi to meeting point.

Please do John, we would all love to meet you  Grin

I used to do a 400 round trip to come to London... if these things are worth anything, they are worth a long trip too!!!
