I have some screwdrivers, hh, although it's never occurred to me to use them to stop the handles on my saucepans from wobbling! (And wobble they do indeed.)
Have a look-see if there's a screw holding the handles to the pan. There invariably is.

I don't have a pencil case, though. Undecided
My pencil case (which always travels with me) has my 'nice pen' (unfortunately at the moment it is without ink and I haven't got round to buying a new cartridge), two 2B pencils, rubber, sharpener, board pen, screwdriver (now!) and a biro. Without it, I would be unable to compose/mark/teach at a moment's notice (not that I need a board pen, understand! I can give up any time!)

This may be my last post. Pim is about to shoot me. It was nice knowing you all! Kiss Kiss Kiss
Alas! Poor tinners! I knew him (virtually) oratorio.
I'm still waiting for Pim's definition of 'silly' as it relates to Browning. Roll Eyes
Maybe that's what he's going to shoot you with. That is a kind of gun isn't it? An Browning Automatic or something... [too many of the 'wrong sort of books']. Good grief. What is this person (floor above) listening to? It sounds like Dire Straits or something equally of its time. I'm sure we can find enough Laurel and Hardy pictures to distract Pim (and Bom if necessary) or at least enough L&H impersonators to act as human shields until you make a hasty yet stylish retreat from the Poetry Appreciation thread.

Let's hope he's not a Tin Man. White fillings look so much better. Wink

Be good if he had a brain too (although if he only had a brain that might make things difficult).

That's funny - I had exactly the same thought before I'd scrolled down to George's post!

Be good if he had a brain too
And a heart, of course.

(Wonder if hh's dentist knows he's being discussed on a messageboard.)
