Good.  Can we now trust that, given the advice here, tp will sort out her problems peacefully and people return this topic to good, old fashioned waffle? Thanks MT!

There I was being a good boy revising my triangles, and along comes Moderator (with red ink) and whups me!

Sheesh, Baz. Would you have preferred maribou trimmed manacles instead? Sorry old bean.  How about one of these for your triangles?
Alright, make it two ...

No, it is totally free for both assailent and assailentee.    The Lemons are supplied by the John Lewis Partnership at half price, you do have to supply your own costume however.

Ta for the gold stars, but I still cannot see how any of us went off-topic at all. The whole thing was pure "Waffle" from beginning to end, including the difference between a Panic and a Ctrl key. T-P seemed to be enjoying it too!

Baz, I didn't mean that 'Waffle' had gone off-topic, just that tp's problems seemed to have been sorted by people here, so we could move on to other things. 'twas all.

Like how were lop-eared rabbits bred to have lop-ears? Sticking-up ears are so sticky-uppy so I'm wondering how on earth they bred them to flop down. Dudley is a French lop with normal sized ears but they flop down. English lops have ridiculously oversized floppy ears they can trip over.
French lop:(Dudley has little grey spots not solid colour)

English lop:

Would you like ears this long?Huh

Indeed A!! It was a brill day though. You will find my discerning picture on that thread to!!

At band we have this boy of 14, who just happens to have the same name as my son(!), he has only been playing drum kit for about 15 months and someone he knew in the band reccomended him Our MD seems to think he be ok, but seems to be taking sometime to get into the rhythm of things. Surely would'nt 15 months be too soon to be joining a band or any type of group? I am trying my best to gibe him a few hints etc. perhaps he not dooing enough practice? Dunno really. Any takers?

I get the impression that the lad doesn't have a terribly good sense of rhythm, would that be right?

Perhaps he can play the drums impressively without music but can't read it well enough to play in a band? A drummer's worse than useless without a good sense of rhythm! My 15 year old D is annoyingly noisy on his drumkit but at least he has an excellent sense of rhythm and has had lessons for years and passed exams so he does play properly.
