I was not, of course, alone in whipping it out on the Virgin train today.

Fortunately people are usually more discreet in the Quiet Zone where I always sit.

That's where I sat, Andy. See you next time, big boy.  Kiss

Makes you feel a bit anxious now about anything. What about pcs lts etc? If you cant wipe phones completely, I dont suppose you can with the aforementioned?

Does anyone else find it slightly unnerving to see a 'Hand shredder' ? it seems a bit excessive for a painful finger  Shocked Shocked

I did it again. It is shredding.

It is better if I don't post, but then the mistake can be in not posting.

This is what I mean t-p.....

....they call them 'Hand Shredders' which means , if you think about it , not a small shredder but a machine that shreds ( that is cuts to small pieces) hands.

ok?  Grin

Well my heart goes out tomorrow for all the competing brass bands in the Lower Sections of The National Brass Band Championships of GB, which is always now, held in Harrogate. So if any board members are in that area tomorrow, give these people a special thought and a prayer. They have been rehearsing like God only knows. Perhpas, you guys may even like to pop in and see what its all about! Great atmosphere and comaraderie and beer!

NB Always seems to be quieter here over the weekends. O well......

I have everything prepared for the hostilities fun family tea later on.  They're all coming at 5.  I've got butterflies.  Most unusual for me.  I hope I've done the right thing here... Undecided

Milly, the fact they accepted your invitation means they are willing to bury the hatchet, best of luck, I am sure it will gain a result. x

Hope it goes well, Milly. Remember: any result is a result. Even if half of them still go away arguing, but two of them phone each other on the quiet for a friendly chat later in the week (which you may not even find out about till later!), that's progress.
