Gosh! I just Googled Euranto and got a page full of rather familiar R3ok avatars, incuding this one. Looks familiar this, er, chap. It does indeed although the owner doesn't seem to have been here for a little while. We miss you, Tommo. Hope it's because you are busy doing something exciting or having a wonderful holiday or both.

Seconded George! The Tommo tones are much missed. And anyway, Martle can't bear the innuendo burden all on his own. Or do I mean 'bare'? Yes, Mort. It's hard keeping it up on one's own. Meanwhile, seen today - Locally Dressed CrabWell, that means Welsh Methodist crab, I guess...

Many thanks George, Mort and Marty-Babes. Yes indeed a bit of both. I always like it that way. More later. (MARTLE!!!!)Tommo x

Blimey! That's the shop just round the corner from me. I recognise that plant in a pot. It always attacks me when I walk past it. Then again, it is Archway Road

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/wales/7702913.stmAll official road signs in Wales are bilingual, so the local authority e-mailed its in-house translation service for the Welsh version of: "No entry for heavy goods vehicles. Residential site only".
The reply duly came back and officials set the wheels in motion to create the large sign in both languages.
The notice went up and all seemed well - until Welsh speakers began pointing out the embarrassing error. ....... "I am not in the office at the moment. Please send any work to be translated."

Breaking news in today's Brighton Argus: (which is actually a reference to a seafront development in Hove, but still...)

At every one of these [classical] concerts in England you will find rows of weary people who are there, not because they really like classical music, but because they think they ought to like it. (Shaw, Don Juan in Hell)
