Perhaps a tricky composer to tackle in COTW, simply because of the music's sheer length: today's episode contained the first movement of 4th Symphony (20 minutes).

I hope the series won't produce the impression of too many started-but-not-completed musical and psychological journeys. Playing lots of excerpts of Bruckner in sequence often does that, mefinds.

I hope they play some of the choral works. 'Um Mitternacht' is for a cappella men's. Fantastic stuff. Almost converted me to idol worship.

What a surprise. They missed out the Sixth Symphony.  Angry

Why is it so underrated? It's just as attention-worthy as the others.
