...hoves into view.  The main fest has  3 symphonic gigs-The Czech National Symphony with Libor Pesek:Taras Bulba/Scottish Fantasy(Chloe Hanslip)/Dvorak Te Deum ,May 9th; Andrew Davis/Gerontius 27th; Carl Davis /RPO,Walton Henry V plus lost score restored with (?) abridged actoring 21st;
you also get Schiff's English Suites (6th, Glynebourne), Charivari agreable doing Hispanic Baroque(7th),
A Dimbleby, Tony Harrison, Shami Chakrabati, some huckster called Gordon Brown, and afternoon tea with Joan
Bakewell(unfortunately not 1 on 1). On the fringe the Roedean Symphony Orchestra stages what promises to be a
controversial performance of the 1812 overture (5th),Dufay (9th),the 1st annual harmonium festival, and much
greenery. I see they're also running late trains back to London to catch the last tubes.
When I was down there recently the street entertainment was in full swing, accomodation-wise plently of scope 10 miles either way down the coast, but don't end up in Littlehampton or Bognor whatever you do.
