Very enjoyable new piece which, among much else, made telling use of the Christchurch space with two violins placed up in the gallery. Congratulations and thanks to Morgan and all concerned.

I like Morgan Hayes' work, in fact I'm commissioning a new piece from him for 2008 - not me personally, you understand, it's the Arts Council which will [hopefully] be providing the funds.

I liked Morgan's piece very much. I also enjoyed following the score, which given that the three ensembles are notated separately and on different pages for much of the piece was quite fun!
I wonder if he ever reads this messageboard? Would be fascinating if he popped up to say a few words about the piece ...

Andy, we, the young, must take care to conceal the unfortunate but no doubt unintended indiscretions of our elders and betters. That's how monarchy works.

Thanks John (and sorry, I hadn't realised you'd have to do the messages one by one)!
I didn't need to do it that way. I think if I move the thread then I can re-name the whole thing at that time. And then I can move it back again.
