Would that be Guy Woolfenden, who wrote absolutely stunning scores for most of the RSC's productions over their first 35 years or so?

Yes indeed, and I'll try to find out which of his works it is.  I think it may be a wind dectet.

Andriessen - Concertino for bassoon and ten wind instruments

Ah, Jurriaan Andriessen. Good to see that his works are being performed again. I thought he was totally forgotten.

My friend Julian Anderson told me that people in Japan often confuse him with Jurriaan Andriessen, Pim! Wink

Not very surprising: there is Jurriaan Andriessen (1925-1996) and there is Jurriaan Andriessen (1951-1991) and sometimes people write Juriaan Andriessen. All very confusing. Wink

Not entirely, Ron. Wink

Jurriaan Andriessen (1925-1996) was a son of Hendrik Andriessen. Louis is Jurriaan's younger brother.

Jurriaan Andriessen (1951-1991) was a son of Nico Andriessen (architect) and a grandson of Hendrik Andriessen. I discovered that he's also known as Jurriaan H. Andriessen:

A remarkable figure. He reminds me a bit of Willem Frederik Bon, also a very interesting, but largely forgotten composer.

Thanks, Pim: I knew about the composer brother, but not the architect cousin-slightly-removed... Wink
