My 8 voice ensemble Octave (formed in 1988) is singing at St Clement's Church on the evening of Thursday July 5 as part of the Ipswich Arts Festival. From our wide-ranging programme I pluck these highlights:-

Vaughan Williams: 3 Shakespeare Songs; Debussy: 3 Chansons de Charles d'Orléans; the splendid motet Surge propera by the negelcted Spanish Renaissance master Sebastian de Vivanco; two pieces by Jaakko Mäntyjärvi including his entertaining El Hambo; Morten Lauridsen's O nata lux.

Welcome, Rausch!

It's very good to see you here.

That looks like a fascinating programme. I only wish that I lived somewhat closer!

Best wishes,

Ron
