PS hh, are you turning into Alistair? Undecided
God forbid! (as surely He will), just as He would no doubt forbid "time_is_now" from turning back the clock should he ever wish to do so; "hh", after all, is harmony twice over, whereas I just try to write the stuff...

Best,

Alistair

New music? Well, he conducted the world premiers of Adams' Dr Atomic and Stewart Wallace's Harvey Milk (which he has also recorded) as well as the American premier of Messiaen's St Francis (and that's just as SF opera).

but to be honest that's more in the Wagner line than the Jonathan Harvey line

This would be rather an interesting appointment for the BBCSSO. We can expect great things to come when he takes up his position. This be very good for Scotland. My ancestral country!!
