Hi everyone,
Tonight at Symphony Hall in Birmingham I will be recording our annual Q&A with CBSO Music Director Sakari Oramo and Chief Executive Stephen Maddock. It is a chance for the audience to ask questions directly to those that matter.

Do any of you have questions you would like me to put to Oramo and Maddock?
Do you have any concerns about the CBSO? Are there issues that you feel need addressing? As Sakari is leaving the orchestra as MD at the end of the season, is there anything you'd like to ask him about his 10 years with the CBSO? What do you think of the repertoire this season? The visiting soloists and conductors?

You can view the season here : http://www.cbso.co.uk

If you have a question please send it direct to me by email to : podcast@cbso.co.uk and I promise to put your question to my guests. Or post it on this board, of course.

We had some great contributions from this board last year so I'm looking forward to hearing from you!

Best wishes and happy new year,

Tommy Pearson

I'd like to know when the orchestra is planning to appoint a new Composer-in-Association (it's now 3 years since the last one finished his stint), but I suppose I'm too late now.

The city is a process which always veers away from the form envisaged and desired, ... whose revenge upon its architects and planners undoes every dream of mastery. It is [also] one of the sites where Dasein is assigned the impossible task of putting right what can never be put right. - Rob Lapsley
