Beverley Minster on Saturday 15 March at 7.30pm
Programme:

Wagner: Overture to Meistersingers
Elgar: Enigma Variations
Beethoven - Piano Concerto no.5 in E flat, "Emperor"
East Riding Youth Orchestra with the Hull Philharmonic and soloist: Martin Ruscoe and conductor: Robert Mitchell

Tickets:
Centre nave £10 adults.  £8 concessions
Rear nave  £8 adults.  £6 concessions
Unreserved (side aisles)  £5 all tickets

Tickets by post (from the Beverley Tourist Information Centre) or over the telephone (01482 391672) and pay using your credit or debit card but there will be a £1 charge for the transaction

To help raise funds for purchasing a new Steinway for Beverley Minster.

Well, I rang this morning to get tickets and very few are left!

I think Martin Ruscoe is from Manchester or near there but I'll have to check that!

Should be a great gig, hope you got your tickets-heartening to know there's a public up there for this.
I trust they weren't  going to get John Prescott doing 'A Lincoln Portrait' in Prescottian.

No, he's fundraising a slightly different way - "Go five round with Two-Jags John and win £100".  The only kind of "culture" he understands, sadly.
