The Buxton Festival looks good this year.

I'm peeved that the Mark Padmore/Paul Lewis Winterreise is sold out, although postal booking for the general public only opens today, phone/internet not till April 18th. Couldn't they have kept some tickets back? I just might have got there. They are doing it at Lichfield as well, but that's further away for me.

I shall comfort myself with the knowledge that soloists don't often make the make the best accompanists.
