I went to the Hvorostovsky / Kissin concert last night. I really enjoyed the Medtner.

Someone indicated to me that there is a Dmitri Hvorostovsky with Anna Netrebko Concert  at the RFH on the 16th May 2009. I have checked the Southbank site and its not listed. This would make a perfect birthday present for my girlfriend. Does anyone know more about this? Is it a secret concert? I know Hvorostovsky will be appearing in Il Trovatore at the ROH about that time too.

Agent Elleson spent lots of my money on tickets for this the day it opened.

And yes, last night's Medtner was good, but don't you think Kissin could do with being exposed to natural sunlight?

Ah ha ... the 19th ... my concert seating neighbour was wrong.

Even the Hvorostovsky website is wrong too !!

Yes I agree, Kissin needs a good long holiday in the sun. He should tour Spain and Italy more often.
