The work to be played is the 5th Piano Concert (1993-4) subtitled Alla reminiscenza. This is rather different to works heard previously in the series, being a slow-moving single movement (some would label it "post-minimalist") with a duration of c. 1 hour 25 minutes. It relates to the composer's activities in the early 1970s, but  otherwise lacks the element of historical reference often present in his work.
