St Martin's at St Mary le Strand Lunchtime Concert
1:00pm - Wednesday 7 March 2007

Lunchtime Concert

Royal College of Music Series

Programme
The Sirocco Saxophone Quartet perform music by Gershwin, Dvorák and Philip Glass

St Martin’s at St Mary le Strand
During St Martin’s renovation works, some lunchtime concerts will take place at St Mary le Strand, London WC2Bf

This lunchtime concert is FREE and no ticket is required. Lunchtime concerts last approximately 45 minutes and latecomers will be admitted to the church when there is a suitable break in the programme. A collection is taken at the end of the concert which goes towards the work of the churches St Martin's, St Mary le Bow and St Mary le Strand

Sometimes it is necessary to alter programmes and substitute artists at short notice. If you are intending to hear a particular piece or performer, we recommend that you telephone the Box Office (020 7839 8362) on the day of the concert in order to confirm performance details.

I am taking the day off for this one Smiley

As a loyal Anglican, I am aware that St Martin's many activities are interesting, and much to their credit.  But they are irrelevant to this board.

If it's the early Glass work for Sax quartet, it is very unlike anything of his you are likely to know already.
