I shall be mostly at the Jacqueline du Pre Memorial Competition concert.

It be for charity and is organised by an old though somewhat absent (my fault) friend of mine.

I've been to a couple of these in the past and they have always been excellent.

Details are here: http://www.wigmore-hall.org.uk/concerts/concert_details.cfm?e=33888

By 'eck that Nicola Eimer is good.

Nice turnout as well so hopefully lots of cash for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Who is Nicola Eimer? I remember reading some information on the site and there is nothing there now.
What did they play?

They played: Mozart, Piano Concerto K414; Ravel, String Quartet in F; Schumann, Quartet for Piano & Strings Op. 44 in E Flat.

I probably haven't given the Carducci String Quartet enough credit to be fair.

Nicola Eimer has her own website here.
