Attended a delighful recital by the Sacconi Quartet yesterday; Haydn, Brahms, and Mozart Quintet with Grahm Oppenheim joining on viola. Graham is artistic director of the series, of which we have been to the odd one or two. Very well attended and received recitals.

Wondered if any one who knows their quartet stuff had heard this young quartet and has views on them. We have been to several of their performances locally over the last three years and it is a great joy to see them developing from the fresh young graduates of RCM into a still growing musical entity.
