http://www.myspace.com/modulationtherapyis the first of a series of dayfests which I have organised with my colleague Alex Routledge (it is he in the mugshot). This one will be atThe Warehouse, Theed St SE1 (near Waterloo tube, back of South Bank Centre area) from 4 on Bank Holiday Saturday, 26th may. We're aiming at a sort of Proms-meets Late Junction kind of approach. The artists range
from bespoke acoustical to a couple of world premieres by the A Capella group Tongue Stuff. Chris Bowen
from the BBC Singers will also be performing Morag Galloway's recent cycle 'A Live-able die-able age'. In between
the music I'll be interviewing the performers, muttering bits of seasonal literary stuff, and there'll be some
fine photographs from Wolf Media and good food and drink. We'll be running on till about 10.30, so come and go
as you please for a basic ticket price of £12.
Unfortunately I don't as yet have samples of Tongue Stuff, but I can vouch for their musicianship, and there are
links to most of the artists on the above page. Hope this might float your boats and maybe to see some of you
guys there.
