It's on BBC4 TV in 30 seconds......

19:00 Radio 3 60th Anniversary Concert
Petroc Trelawney presents a special concert recorded in 2006 from the Barbican in London celebrating 60 years of Radio 3, formerly the Third Programme.

It's repeated for video recording at 2.00am

The programme features Dvorak's Suite in A and Beethoven's Symphony No.3 the Eroica, along with an evocative new work written especially for this occasion by the British composer Jonathan Dove. Hojoki: An account of my Hut is a cantata for counter tenor and orchestra which takes its inspiration from the writings of a 12th century Japanese poet and Buddhist priest. Soloist Lawrence Zazzo is joined by the BBC Symphony Orchestra conducted by Jiri Belohlavek.

Wowee, what an utterly fantastic counter tenor.  Impeccable production, faultless intonation, consistent throughout his considerable range.  Such a beautiful voice and such clarity of enunciation.  Why have I never heard of him before, I wonder?
