Amen to that. Just now, midst chores and piles of paper, quick food shop at the Polish-Turkish placed up the road-proper deli stuff at keener,not undersold prices. I'm shot of a`quid or so at the checkout, and the guy not only refuses to remove anything from the bag but chucks` some polish biccies in. As Mort says, you don't get that in Tesco.

Yes I do find the Merry Wives of Windsor does tend to do that. I used to have the old Willi Boskovsky/VPO decca on vynl!

Splendid!  That must be the issue that also has the Overtures to Die Fledermaus, Donna Diana, Prince Methuselah and (another favourite of mine) the Opera Ball.

I've got this collection on tape but it's very old and has become faulty so I don't often listen to it.
