To get the r3 mind away from the phoney celebrity politics that seem to dominate current strategies and policies should it not be moved away from London to a city like Nottingham, Birmingham, Bristol, Swansea or Edinburgh? Would a non London base enable an editorial approach uncorrupted by the hanoverian court politics of London?

Didn't the "restructuring" include something about "no more live concerts"? A sad loss IMO.

Move the BBC  &  HM Goverment away from London. There would be a cultural revival in the capital.

Well, Radio 2 broadcast some shows from the Birmingham Mailbox complex, so why not R3?

Nice studios, nice bars, a few hundred yards from Symphony Hall. Need a bit of more culture in Brum, a few R3 presenters would actually help a lot!
