How about anybody still around later on convene over on the OTHER SIDE for one last waffle-fest? The Waffles Newly Baked thread...
Let's send that board off with a cheer and a wave, plus tears, laghter, memories.  Cry  Cheesy  Cry  Grin

(3 1/2 hours to go..., you must not wait...)

I'm stuck here Martle cos I never registered on the old boards. Will have a farewell "lurk" though. Having got used to posting, I may have to get around to registering over there if they remain viable. But then I'll be in pre-mod for ever, will have to wait before I can post again etc, etc. Ho hum.

I say, Anna, that's a bit steep. We had quite a lovely counting to 40 characters party thanks to Tommo. Tommo and I and Veronika and Mort and martle and soundwave and Bryn and George and harmonyharmony and A were certainly out in force.

(And doubtless others I've missed and thereby offended. Sorry...)

Urrgh. What do you mean, no party? That was quite wild enough for me. Anyone got a very small tonic water? If anyone wants me I'm going to lie down on the lovely cool tiles in the bathroom and snore with my mouth open. It's where I most want to be.

Ho, Mr S! How went the Birtwistling etc this weekend? No looking back?

VERY odd goings-on.

Indeed. Then they opened them again. I'm getting a bit miffed. (Living on 3-minute tranches of borrowed time is somehow rather stressful.)

Sorry.
I nearly tried to make the first post as well but decided that clean teeth took precedence.
I was looking in the New Music Board for things that I'd missed when everything shut down.
I think that the biggest boo for me, goes to the BBC for completely disenfranchising its New Music listeners.
BOO!

All of the above notwithstanding etc. I hope that everybody will treat the BBC's new Message Boards with the respect that they (the Message Boards and the BBC) deserve.

Ahem.
