Okay, without wanting to lessen their musical taste/talents, there's still the element of ear candy about one or two Radio 3 presenters.  My nominations:-

The pick of the bunch:
*Lucie Skeaping

Honourable mentions:
*Sara Mohr-Pietsch
*Verity Sharp
*Jonathan Swain

What say you?

I'd tick Verity's box anytime, but only cos I got drunk with her once. (JUST got drunk, ok??). Otherwise, JS definitely, and I'd nominate Donald McCleod too - CoTW is usually pitched just right, unpatronising and informative. What I've heard of Skeaping is pretty distinguished, too.

Catherine Bott seems to be unfairly omitted so far too Wink

Andrew McGregor's VOICE is very soothing and he modulates so beautifully.

Sorry Don B, I have to disagree - I find him very croaky and mumbly at times! Perhaps that's part of his appeal to you?  Wink  I do like him as a presenter though.

My vote goes to Jonathan Swain.

Yes, lovely presenting voice martle but sexy??!!?? Cheesy

Merely corroborative detail, intended to give artistic verisimilitude to an otherwise bald and unconvincing narrative.

Perhaps I'm remembering him in his prime.

Ian Skelly is one of my favourite voices.

That picture took me by surprise! He doesn't sound, to me, like he looks - though I've really no idea what he should look like.

Sounds like he grew up in Milly territory.

Jonathan Swain should look more rounded, like Ian Skelly, whereas he looks like:
