Have noticed in extremely small print in the Radio Times that BBC 4 tv has Proms on Four in the early hours of the morning every night next week starting tomorrow. No indication which concerts, unless it's on the BBC 4 web site.

Use Andrew Freer's bleb site for all the details. Starts tonight I see (Sunday morning) with
Sun 4 Mar, 01:05 - 03:45  160 mins
Mahler by Minnesota: Osmo Vanska conducts the Minnesota Orchestra in a programme including Mahler's Symphony No 5, Barber's First Essay for Orchestra and Three Songs by Osvaldo Golijov.

Andrew Freer's site is at (for BBC4):

and use the >> for the details.

Thanks John. Do I remember correctly that the Golijov songs weren't peformed because of Dawn Upshaw's illness ?

Bobbyz,

I remember she was ill but I can't remember how the programming was affected. The BBC website could be searched for that.

The Golijov was replaced by Beethoven's C minor concerto with Lllyr Williams.

I was at the gig and did not find it particularly inspiring; the Barber was the best part of it.
