Roger Royle is quitting Radio 2's Sunday Half Hour after 16 years. There is no indication in the press release that he is to be replaced. It therefore makes me wonder of Aled Jones' "The Choir" on Radio 3 will be the main source for religious programming on national BBC radio?

In terms of use of music, and sometimes some pertinent philosophical scripting, 'Something Understood' on R4
has been worth a listen. Bit of a truncated role for a great talent like Sir Tully, but as a pro he's made something
meaningful out of the brief. Can't say I've caught it in the last quarter or so as I hardly listen to the BBC these days, but you might want to give it a go.
