Sorted now, Andy: trying to do too many things at once (Moderator multi-tasking). Your answer is yes, and I'll include it with the other promised goods, which I haven't forgotten, though I still need to locate exactly just which external drive they're on.

I hope that's it now: being able to preview only a single line at a time rather than the whole shebang is a recent problem that's appeared which I can't fathom: even more oddly, although it affects posts, PMs are still completely visible in preview, so I assume it's a minor bug. Annoying, though.

Eh? I've had no problems with previews ... Just tried it now with a longer post and I saw the whole thing exactly as usual.

The city is a process which always veers away from the form envisaged and desired, ... whose revenge upon its architects and planners undoes every dream of mastery. It is [also] one of the sites where Dasein is assigned the impossible task of putting right what can never be put right. - Rob Lapsley

No problem with Firefox. I'm just trying this in Safari...
And I'm only getting one line. How peculiar.

The same thing happens in Google Chrome - only one line of preview.

At every one of these [classical] concerts in England you will find rows of weary people who are there, not because they really like classical music, but because they think they ought to like it. (Shaw, Don Juan in Hell)
