I've been finding it increasingly difficult, now that I regularly use 3 different computers and occasionally others to go online, to keep my bookmarks synchronized. I've tried uploading the html file that Firefox exports but that doesn't really help much, other than to make old bookmarks available whichever machine I'm on.
Last night I signed up to
delicious which provides a Firefox add-on and uploads all of your bookmarks for you. By default these are private. It also adds some buttons to Firefox which you can use to bookmark sites, though these seem to be public by default.
I haven't really investigated much yet, so does anyone else have any experience of using delicious or similar?
One thing it has revealed to me is that I've got 1768 pages bookmarked in Firefox on my desktop
- a lot of these must be obsolete by now.
