Red obliged immediately, and then said "Would you also like Mildred Bailey's autograph?" My friend, a bit puzzled, said "Of course, but she's been dead for years."
"That's OK", said Red, "when we worked together, I signed all the contracts for both of us. My forgery of Mildred's signature was so good nobody ever knew the difference".
