<, experienced enough to up load <
er . . to upload pics, use the little thing that looks like this in the tool bar
then paste the 'properties' of the pic you want to upload in the middle of the 2 sets of these [ img ] things.

you get 'properties' by right clicking the pic you want & copying the bit that says URL Address
unless you have a mac, in which case, er . .  erm . .

. . . you either use View Image which will take you to a new page or tab and the address in the toolbar will be the one you seek; or you use Copy Image Location which in the vast majority of cases will do the trick but I've seen some exceptions.

Let's see if Copy Image Location works on my postage stamp...

Hm, pretty.

If you want to make the image smaller you can then put something like "height=200" in the first image tag before the square bracket (click on the "Quote" tag attached to this post to see how I've done it).

You can find these tips at the site's own Help section (the tag near the top of the page next to Home).

Thanks folks for your help....don't give me any more info, it only confuses me. I literally (sic) cannot hold more than a couple of sentences of info at a time....I have to do it like an airfix kit. I'll print out the info, then I will have it in front of me, then I will not have to go backwards and forwards, forget which left and right , confuse what did last time with this time, do exactly the same as I did last yet get a different result blaa blaa.....PHwwwwwwwwwww....

Anyhoo Heyhoo....I do quite like the situation that I cannot do what you do so therefore have to innovate within the ..... with what i got....story of my b'life....

ALL HAIL THE MORON.......cognitive disidence , disadence, disodence, dissadence , dissidence (hooray, sod the English language)[a la R4 Today prog]

i have not attached a picture in any form to this message

albert ayler with don cherry

the quartet stuff

is ok innit

but the trouble with me i cant do nothing without my baby
yes it's plain to see

oops
philadelphia sound creeps in again

the trouble with me is
i cant hear someone hollering into a tenor saxophone
without hearing cliche
and i'm not very tolerant of angst these days

one day i'm gonna make a tape
this evening maybe
with all the trio stuff and quartet stuff
recorded back to back with no heads

who the hell was that duo i saw at the cube
i've lost the thread
but i do have a nice mini disk recording of em

... dunno bout you mister improv old lad, but I, King Kennytone, am not going back on that goddam BBC£3 bored.

I'm just kinda observing as it slips back to being a list of lists of 'quite nice' meaningless jizz product, short loop repetition & polyester static.

Well Veronika should be back around before long for example. I haven't seen her, er, him here for a little while. Surely that should bring some stimulating discussion?

Golly gee, Kenny. Here you have diligently worked/commented all these years, sometimes blustering along like Rumpole of The Bailey, other times useing your own special codices...whereas this Reactive Board appears to be - dare I think it - normal?

WHAT FUN IS THAT?

wELL, sIR cHARLES - kENNYTONE IS
erm ...

I am not one to wait cap in hand to get out of pre-mod, man.
I can't be arsed posting stuff that meets their inane requirements.
4 out of every 5 posts I've made this week never even made it to the bored.

FREE SPEECH OR NOTHING

.. i WAS MILDLY AMUSED ahem, to hear that BBC overspent summat like £48million quid on overhauling their 'flagship' website. And it's WORSE than it was before they started.
