Yep COMRADES

... with the SILENCING of mr improv aka malcolm X aka ms griselda polack & MYSELF (the great King Kennytone) the "jazz" bored over at holy state radio BBC£3 has once more reverted to the banal trotting out of product lists & sexist shite which seems to be the default.

Modified:
Mr Improv has been BANNED, & I'm in permanent pre-mod.  NO message is allowed to get through except the MOST BLAND & pointless.

Total censorship in effect.

Hm. I do look in at the jazz bored now and again (although I haven't been a BBCMB member for some time) mainly to see what interesting stuff people might be saying about interesting music (ie. other than jazz, apart of course from the Thad Jones-Mel Lewis big band who are the saviours of the universe) and I'd noticed there was nothing I thought worth reading. Now I know why.

i'm not in premod
i'm simply barred from posting
or whatever polite word they use to cloak their censorship and protection of the hegemony

i've had no contact from them about it at all
i think they've also taken to taking posts out without leaving any trace that they're doing it
and also sending no correspondence to the writer of the 'offending' thread

yes so now we have ladies in lace and stockings on the jazz bored
and the endless lists of consumer items
alll of this is fine

according the hegemony

I've also noticed that there has been very little of interest over at the jazz bored (apart from the welcome return of Rooosta...good to see Jellybaby7 here too )

All part of trying to make the bored reflect the content of the majority of the programmes ( Mingus notwithstanding )

Auntie has become noticeably more proscriptive on her messageboards, across all her activities.

Yes indeed B'Doge.........all done in the best possible taste....Ive had my fill of knocking (definately not hammering) on the door of kunsthistories....at the moment it would get in the way of my sticking 40,000 jelly babies on a 20' bust of damien Hurst....postpost-modern....of course using my zircon encrusted tweezers to do so....hoping it will earn me enough gravy for a decent pie....

I have just suggested that you KK and Improv should be removed from premod (internal exile) see cheers thread.

I did not realise Mr. Improv had been banned (external exile). I would have thought that so long as you did not break the law or make the board owners liable to civil action the case for censorship is not a good one. We haven't Pete  the Bass to sort matters out anymore.
