OK, I admit I do listen to jazz. But I don't tell people about it very often, and I'm far from being an expert.
I only heard about the Musicians Village project yesterday, and since most of the people who will read this message live in the UK anyway, it probably won't be of tremendous interest. But hurricanes Katrina and Rita left a lot of New Orleans musicians homeless.
Habitat for Humanity has a subproject to rehouse musicians affected by the hurricanes, which in turn will help to revive the communities that made up New Orleans. Please visit the site to see whether you can help in any way.
Thanks for being patient enough to read this.
