They could be playing something by Duke Ellington?  Smiley

Certainly can replace it if there's something that I can clip/shrink without losing too much resolution. I have lots of classic jazz photos, Louis' Hot Five etc., but please, anyone can offer a photo but best if it's like a landscape orientation and not the portrait type like the examples above.

Anyway, as you see I've already replaced it, maybe not much difference, though I can assure you they do play hot dance band stuff. I have them featured on another forum that I help administer:

http://launch.groups.yahoo.com/group/old-dance-band-music/

and here's a few other suggestions:

Any of the first four on your scrolling suggestions look good John. I also had a look at the site www.istockphoto.com and searched on jazz. First page had a cool trumpet player and sax at dusk which both fit well.

Thanks BobbyZ, the images at istockphoto are just the right sort of size, but they seem to be mainly 'staged' photos, nothing historical nor real performance.

For the moment then, from those examples I put up, I've gone for the Charlie Parker photo  Cool

Cheers
