Thankyou King Kennytone.

There are already so many subjects on this board and it's not doing my knees any good.

Yes martle.

They were already under a bit of strain after that Orientalism thread, but when the Shostakovich thread had another bit of a spurt today I thought they might go completely.

I think KK has nothing to say, and he's saying it. Surprised he didn't post that message at 33 minutes past 4.  Wink

I was compelled by dark forces to stagger round Asda on the Old Kent Road, and amidst the usual wailing (pace Syd)on Asda FM...Chet Baker doing 'Let's Get Lost'.(no fades, no tannoy over the solo) Is it on some Clooney soundtrack or is it theJazz send out (raspberry) ripples? Dissapointing lack of self-spanking about the place which used to be part of the corporate philosophy @ the ads.

In a suburban coffee place the soundtrack turned out to be the Cinematic Orchestra, whom you too may have
heard of from a few mixes that may have seemed promising. the new edition of them sounds like Oregon (in
fact what I heard may have been an Oregon cover) and they are doing it live-very fine soprano/alto player out front, compound time sigs and all.

it's chill soul innit, not jazz as far as i can find tracks to hear on the web, very nice and SLOW, but it ain't jazz. Neither were the Oregon noodlers.
