Oh bugler, I`ve done it again. Sorry chaps. For some reason I have the 17th fixed in my mind. Of course it`s the 16th which is, er, a Saturday. Blush, blush. (hitting head against wall emoticon)

Does this one work for you? Close enough?

I have to admit I looked at the title of this thread again... and yes... it was which pub are we to meet in after the concert?
It then developed into philosophy, all the reasons why we shouldn't drink near the concert venue, and mugging. It seems no-one wants to help us meet up... that's ok!

We will go to the concert, enjoy, and leave !!

A

now you know why i gave up organising things here and am doing stuff with london[edited] instead

I just do london[edited] as joined before realising lots on offer, is fairly cheap and easy to organise events, as geared towards that, as opposed to waffling, like on here.

(a) nobody really knows where to go after the concert
(b) nobody really knows why there's something rather than nothing
(c) we'll all be at Shoreditch Church and we can take it from there

If you are going by car, do remember that the road intersection to the immediate south-east of the church doubles as a football pitch. The guys who were playing there, last time I went, gave me very sound advice on the best place to park.

I agree with (a) and (c) but I have to admit (b)'s lost me a bit.

Am I missing something? Or are you trying to outdo me in the philosophy stakes? Wink

No, t_i_n, that 42 turned out to be the result of multiplying 9 by 6, IIRC. Wink

Surely the answer has to be - Mornington Crescent?

Ah, but Shoreditch itself is rapidly changing from being the Hoxton of the South to the Covent Garden of the East.

I'm sure we can all learn to rub along together somehow, regardless of background.

The only problem there is that the concert is in the evening .
