Anyone in terested in goi ng to The Royal Albert hall on 6/4/2008? Sir Andrew Davies will be co nductinh the RPO in music by VW, The Wasps Overture; Elgar, Sea pictures; Tippett: Child of our Time.

Me, Sue and friend will be going. Bought tickets already.

It's good to see him back. I'll try and get there, although some beefier stuff to go with the Tippett would have been good. Cheers.   Incidentally, re:waffle thread, I think there is a fine Martle BB piece from a few years back you may like to revive-good to think of some full-on modern stuff in bb circles again (that's be a first half for the Tippett for example...MT's Festal Brass with Blues rocks as well)

Yes MF, Martle did tell me at brighton that he had done  an arrangement, I think, for the NYBBGB some years ba ck. he didnt tell me though, what the music was though. See you there hopefeully and arrange a meet up there. Anybody else?
