I'll see you sometime shortly after 8 o'clock. Before that, I have to go and be very incompetent at ballet. I will look forward during my class to the part of the evening when I get to partake of an activity for which I have a not inconsiderable aptitude, namely quaffing real ale with friends on a fine summer's evening.

Have fun all - I'm going to be doing my last lot of feedback sheets for students, here in Totnes. Hope some of you will want to come to the M&S meet-up on July 4th, where various members from abroad, including quartertone, attac, and Fragment-of-a-Turd, should be there
This has not gone unnoticed. 'nuff said.

Very prompt, A! Indeed it was a lovely evening. Peanuts were delicious - and are; I sneaked a handful just before I left, so still munching them as I write A shame that the tables were so segregated, but that can't be helped. oops, I interrupted the flow

A, many thanks for posting these - I would have loved to have been there, but professional duty called and I was on my way back to Heathrow from Berlin. I hope to be able to get a bit closer to the next R3OK gathering than circling over South London in a holding pattern ....

At every one of these [classical] concerts in England you will find rows of weary people who are there, not because they really like classical music, but because they think they ought to like it. (Shaw, Don Juan in Hell)

Hah, I see that A got there first with the promo pics So, cast list for tonight was (in no particular order cos I'm too pooped) BobbyZ Don Basilio A Baz George Garnett Reiner Richard Barrett Il Grande Inquisitore (I'll always think of the Lavender Hill Mob now Autoharp Eruanto minus warm clothing Ruth Martle and his nuts Tinners plus friend A lovely evening, really good to meet new faces, although I completely disgraced myself by not realising that it was IGI until the end of the evening Don't ask. Many nuts were thrown, mainly Martle's.. In fact there was a good deal of silly behaviour twixt music talk. A pretty healthy mix. I suspect more photographs are likely to appear here..... Edit. Ah, I see they already have ....

Eruanto minus warm clothing But plus something else. Warm clothing is a very comparative term! If I'd known it was going to be so sheltered from the sun, perhaps I would have reconsidered. I was fine for quite a while, then it all started going wrong. 17 degrees at 10pm the met office website said. pfft.

I'm afraid that I've so effectively blocked A's pictures (because of her bouncing avatar) that I can't work out how to unblock them - so I can't see any of her pictures
