Those who have been following At least Ninety-six Crackpot Interpretations may well have been impressed by Member Sudden's potential Mahler 1 finale with extra Truck-driver's gear change modulation.

Some more examples please

and a relevant website (again thanks to Ollie)

and a notable example from a golden oldie (about 1 minute 50 secs in)

Some fantastically wobbly clutch control all over this one:

Nice idea, auto!

I'll lob in what is actually a very classy T-DGC. You hardly know it's happening because the harmony's so sophisticated, plus it's coupled with the insertion of a 3/4 bar in the context of general 4/4.

Earth, Wind and Fire, natch! At about 3 mins in.

Here's a rather different tack. These may not be acceptable as modulations, but this truck certainly appears to possess limitless gears. The extract is from the Judex section of Havergal Brian's Gothic Symphony and the gears prepare for action round about 11.43. The performance, incidentally, is by Boult with the BBCSO etc in 1966 - not the most precise, but effective nonetheless.
