Philip Thomas gave a really good series of recitals (lucky enough to turn up to one of them), so now we have  a recording. I think he played a bit of Cardew, which doesn't make it, nor any of his transcriptions of Derek Bailey's guitar improvisations. However, Cage's 'Variations II' has a new recording, a piece which I didn't see him perform then.

I like the title of this CD.

There's a track from 'Comprovisation' in Where's The Skill In That? to be broadcast on Res FM onMay 30th (or available as download soon). Part of 'Pressings and screenings' by Chris Burn. It's excellent.
