21st - 30th November
click here to go to the festival's website
View the programme by clicking on 'TICKETS NOW ON SALE'.

The brochure just landed through my letterbox.
There a lot of things I would like to go to, but because of my academic commitments I'm not sure how much I'll be able to make.
I'm definitely hoping to get there for the weekends but annoyingly I'm probably going to miss the Tenney concerts given by the Bozzini quartet.

Thanks hh, that's worth knowing about as it's actually a location I can do!  Shame the festival site is blocked from here, but I'll have a look as soon as I get chance.

Everything's blocked from here. Grump.

Haven't looked beyond the first two concerts yet, but prize for the silliest title so far goes to John Rea's Singulari-T.

Interesting composer, but really ... !

Btw, so it's back to 'Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival' rather than 'hcmf', is it? Wink

The city is a process which always veers away from the form envisaged and desired, ... whose revenge upon its architects and planners undoes every dream of mastery. It is [also] one of the sites where Dasein is assigned the impossible task of putting right what can never be put right. - Rob Lapsley
