From the IHT.

It must be more than twenty years since Dad and I went out to waste an afternoon cruising around the Suffolk countryside and found a complete Western town in the middle of an otherwise unoccupied field. I used to enjoy ambling along the backroads on a pushbike discovering surprises like the sign that warned of kangaroos for the next three km (and then seeing a real kangaroo looking back at me through the bushes elsewhere).

What lurks in those quiet rural lanes today, I wonder?

No, I'm not a complete idiot. I'm only a halfwit. In fact I'm actually a catfish.
