Well, viola players don't listen anyway, so I don't think that would make difference.  Smiley

Viola players didn't come to the rehearsal to listen to other people - they came to play themselves.  Listening is the audience's job, mate Wink   They do theirs, and we'll do our ours...

Viola players ...  ... came to play themselves.

Might be a little more productive if they tried the instrument rather than themselves.  Mind you, bow on arm is probably a nicer sound than bow on viola.  (Not sure about plucking though.)

mart,

You need to show that is attached.  I doubt many viola players will know where that is on the anatomy.  (And I don't want any of the female players getting confused.  Wink)

I'm sure Mort's right Tommo, you've taken something. Maybe not deliberately. Do you grow your own courgettes?

Originally I was hoping that we could coat violas in the special substance.  More for our benefit than for that of viola players......

To paraphrase the National Rifle Association of America:  "Violas don't play bum notes. Violists play bum notes".

But did you hear about the really great young viola-player with the astounding technique, who is also handsome and charming?

No, nor did I.

Violists play bum.

I think we can stop there.

But did you hear about the ...
