The Extraordinary Case Of The Pagan And The Multicultural Prayer Room

It is somewhat extraordinary, I'm sure you will agree.

It certainly is a story that makes me shake my head in disbelief! I saw the case referred to in the latest NSS newsletter, but had not followed up the link, so thank you for putting it.

I heard a discussion on FiveLive about 11:0 plm. on Saturday night I think it was on the case of the teacher who had, apparently, punished two boys who had refused to role play and pray as Muslims do. As was pointed out, what would the reaction have been if Moslem boys had been told to role play and pray to Christ.

And then of course there's this bizarre continuing discussion about whether women should be bishops ... the world's gone mad!! Hooray for the BHA say I.

But what a welcome change it all made from that dreary business of delivering people's letters, eh, Readers? Wink

My favourite bit:

The weakness of the Royal Mail’s case against Donald, which became only too apparent during the course of the tribunal hearing, especially when our excellent barrister got the opportunity of grilling – and then frying and roasting– the Royal Mail’s managers in cross-examination...

Employment tribunals can be tremendous fun and many juicy cases go unreported. Sting and his appalling wife (who's now had so much plastic surgery she looks like she's walking into a Force 9 gale) will never really recover from the truth coming out about how they treated their cook.
