No memories to share, save growing up watching her as the host of Live from Lincoln Center (one of the few remaining bits of classical music on American TV), but anyone interested should read the lovely and quite extensive obit in the NY Times:

Very sorry to hear that Beverly Sills died yesterday.

Unfortunately I don't know much of her work, but the reissue in recent years of her recordings of Donizetti's 'three queems' on DG/Westminster will have brought her to new audiences.

Do members have any particular memories to share?

yes. i remember the set being called 'three queens'.
