Actually what I meant was starting another thread somewhere to talk about favourite record shops so that people who wanted to talk about Wagner and theatre could do it undisturbed by the likes of me... oh well. Never mind. I suppose such people are used to irrelevant distractions.  Wink

Ho, RT! I know this Brighton shop, having bought some good stuff there when I was studying in the UK. But my favourite shop in the area is Fine Records in Hove, where I used to live. Oh rimembranza! Sussex nostalgia: Palace Pier, fish & chips, and (of course) Glyndebourne! Apologies for this off-topic post  Embarrassed

Just to confirm: both the Classical Long-Player in Brighton and especially Fine Records in Hove are gems. Unlike the Brighton (not 'Palace' any longer) Pier, which has gone somewhat to the dogs under gangster management. The fish 'n' chips aren't too bad anywhere in town though...  Lips sealed

There's now a thread where this sort of thing will be very much on-topic. See you there? Smiley

Congrats on kick-starting the new thread, Ollie - but where can I find insightful and critical reviews of fish'n'chip emporiums? Wink
