Well, you'll know not to expect an "authentic"
opera seria staging, but this one doesn't have any Bollywood dancing or comic G&S soldiers in it. (It does however have Tito's guards doing aikido or whatever that thing with the poles is, but I found that only a minor irritant.)
Sarah Connolly's convincing acting was rather pivotal to the success of the production's earlier outing, but I'm sure Alice Coote will be good too.
